Acknowledgements
from the form you completed before your stay
Below is a copy of the information that was included in the acknowledgements section of the form you completed and submitted before your stay:
Smoking is only allowed outside.
There should be an ashtray under the grill if needed. Please empty it and clean it before you leave!
Pets require pre-approval.
This is a pet friendly home, but with limits! If you want to bring your fur baby on your vacation, please contact me first to discuss.
The house is not child/kid-proofed.
There is a drawer with gadgets that will secure 10 side-by-side cabinets from small children.
In the laundry room, scary cleaning supplies and chemicals are in the upper cabinets.
There are cleaning supplies beneath the kitchen sink.
There are sharp knives in the silverware drawer and in the upper cabinets.
Likely multiple pairs of scissors in various places.
And the ceramic tile throughout is not very forgiving if you fall and hit it!
Packages and mail cannot be delivered to the home.
In case you are planning a longer visit and were thinking of shipping some things, think again. There is no mail delivery to my home in Waikoloa Village. Literally, the mail is not delivered, not even to me! I have a PO Box only which you will not be able to access. Please plan accordingly!
Only take disposable dishes and utensils out of the house.
There should be disposable plates, cups, utensils, coffee cups, gladware, etc. Please only use these for outings!
Exception: You are welcome to take the water bottles and travel mugs out of the house, but please remember to bring them back. :-)
On your last day, please be out by noon and leave the house keys on the kitchen counter.
Kindly leave no later than Noon to ensure our cleaners have time to prepare for new guests.
Turn off all a/c units and turn on the ceiling fans.
Take out the trash. (see Leaving on Home page)
Both house keys should be left on the kitchen counter.
Ensure all windows and sliding glass doors are closed and locked, and close all blinds.
Lock the bottom lock on the front door when you leave.
Turn on / off the Nest Home devices per your preference.
There are Nest/Google Home devices in every room. These should be set to 'not listening' for your arrival but you should double check if you do not want them listening. You are welcome to turn them on and use them!
Any purchases/charges made on linked TV accounts will be covered by you.
I'm pretty sure my accounts on the Apple TV and Chromeboxes are set up to require a password before a purchase. But just in case, if you make a purchase on one of them, I'll let you know so you can reimburse me! :)
Inside cameras will be removed and outside cameras will be de-activated.
Inside cameras will be removed during your visit. The cameras on the Ring doorbell (front porch) and the Ring flood light (main lanai) will be Disarmed during your visit.
Chad (maintenance) is on call daily from 7am to 9pm.
