I am so glad you decided to visit and hope you enjoy your stay. Please peruse this site for info on the home and local things.
Before your arrival, kindly complete this form so we can prepare for your visit!
(note: please do not share this site or form, I'm only allowing friends and family to visit and am not renting out my home, mahalo!)
Where
68-3598 Haena St
Waikoloa, HI 96738
Directions from Kona (KOA) International Airport
Unless you plan on hanging around the neighborhood you will definitely want to rent a car. All major rental car companies are at the airport. Book directly or through your favorite travel website. There might be Uber or Lyft drivers in Kona, but in Waikoloa you would likely wait a half hour and pay more than the cost of a daily rental. p.s. make sure you have a back up camera for backing out of the driveway!
note: there is no mail or shipment delivery to this address (ie. do not order things from Amazon and expect them to arrive!)
Arriving
The driveway is a bit steep and narrow. (Back up camera highly recommended!) Park there or in the street, wherever you are most comfortable!
Getting Inside
There is a lock box on the front door. Enter the code provided to retrieve a single key. There is a second key in the kitchen cabinet to the left of the oven.
note: the screen door is retractable with a magnetic closure. It can be hard to open, and sometimes retracts quickly!
Leaving
On your last day:
Kindly leave no later than Noon to ensure our cleaners have time to prepare for new guests.
Turn off all a/c units and turn on the ceiling fans.
Place all trash from throughout the house into a black trash bag (especially the kitchen trash!)...
If leaving on a Wednesday, place it in the nook at the bottom of the driveway.
If not leaving on a Wednesday, place it in the trash bin outside, against the back of the house.
Black trash bags should be in the lower cabinets to the right of the kitchen sink.
Put one house key back in the lock box, hang the other back in the cabinent to the left of the oven.
Ensure all windows and sliding glass doors are closed and locked, and close all blinds.
Lock the bottom lock on the front door when you leave.
If you would like to leave a note in the guest book by the front door, please do!
If you would like to share any feedback, please send an email to feedback@alohalifeisgood.com.
